!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! I appreciate the advice you guys gave me. Anyway, I've given it some thought and I've decided that my life is not where I want it to be. I don't want to return to school and finish up my student teaching, and I don't want to stay here, and I've given some thought to drifting to Cali and hell working at a Walmart in Encino if I have to, I just genuinely want to get out of here. I've also decided that I'd rather be a writer than a teacher, and that...*shrug* well I'm honestly kind of losing my train of thought. All I know for sure is that every book I've been reading so far has been making me feel incredibly depressed and, well, I probably should stop that.

...oh, I guess it's a CLA 45? Well there you go.
Edit: Dang, that CLA looks really good in red. Normally when I see them they're some variation of white or gray and it just emphasizes how annoyingly lumpy the rear-end looks.

This is my mantra when I have friends with problems: "Identity will not save you." Don't become a "writer", work on your writing and find a way to make it useful for you. You can literally change every part of your life if you put enough thought to it, but it doesn't come easily. So in the interest of becoming happy, find a way to make yourself secure and in good health while at the same time cultivating skills that you want to use.
Look at your life scientifically: What do you have now? What do you want next? What is stopping you from getting it? How can you improve? At the end of the day, you have to understand that for you to be secure financially, you have to be better than the next guy. Survival is competitive. Once you are in that place, then you can give back to people with what you can create.
I think there's an entire generation of people who are taught that you instead create an "Identity" of themselves that they try to adhere to, and it makes them very, very unhappy.

Damn, hate see someone having as hard a time as you are. I have to agree with heliochrome, it could really help you to see someone. Depression is a disease, fuck what people around you are saying about it, it's not a frame of mind or just a bad mood. It is a treatable disease just like Diabetes, or high blood pressure, you might have to go out of your way, or take medicine everyday for the rest of your life but it is treatable. With help you can get it under control and hopefully greatly improve your quality of life. Good luck I genuinely hope you get everything worked out.
Honestly, if I were you I wouldn't even worry about a girlfriend right now. Woman notice when you aren't in the right frame of mind and they will avoid you because of it. I think once you get your feelings of self doubt under control you will see more women taking and interest in you. Seriously man I hope you can be happy.
